Over 2 years ago, we were approach by SBS Design to assist with a scheme relating to the demolition of an existing dwellinghouse and garage located on site a) and removal of a static caravan on site b) and erect a new dwelling house on site b). The sites were adjacent to the award winning Boat House (also designed by SBS Design) set on the bank of the River Dee, Cheshire.
Our site was not without its constraints being located outside a settlement boundary ( according to policy maps to the Local Plan), located in a Conservation Area, was adjacent to a cliff face and was adjacent to a SSSI and within the catchment of the Bala Lake SAC.
Working with Chris Palin at SBS Design and the wider project team, we were able to provide planning support for the project and I am pleased to report that permission was granted last week for the development. A big thank you to SBS Design for getting us involved in the project and we wish our clients the best of luck with their project.
