Planning Approved - New Café & Visitor Centre in Runcorn

A short and sweet post but we are really pleased to share that planning permission has been secured for the construction of a café & visitor centre in Runcorn. The cafe and visitor centre will play an integral part in the wider regeneration scheme already granted planning permission for a canal based visitor attraction on land off Rutland Street, Runcorn.

The centre will be built and managed by Runcorn Locks Restoration Society. Along with being a place to recharge and refresh, visitors will be able to purchase tickets for boat

trips and a series of events to promote and expand the charity will be held at the centre.
